#CoopsRocks

The community has been enjoying a new family hobby this Summer and Fall.  It’s called “Coopersville Rocks!”  People decorate small rocks and hide them around town for others to find.  Once they are found, the rocks are to be hidden again.  It’s like an ongoing scavenger hunt.  There’s even a Facebook page where clues can be found.Coopersville Farm Museum supports activities that bring families together.  During the inclement weather, which is sure to come soon enough, the museum will offer a rock decorating station on Saturday mornings from 10am-noon.  If you enter the museum and say “Coopersville Rocks!” and you are not a member, you get in for just a $1 donation.  Members, of course, are always free, although donations are appreciated. This is NOT just for kids!  Adults and kids alike are welcome.  We will paint, draw, decoupage, and come up with other creative ways to decorate rocks as we wait for Spring.  They may stay at the museum or you can take them home until the snow melts.  It’s up to you.

Some rocks will be provided, but feel free to gather some before the snow falls!

Welcome
